Homeopathy
Homeopathy was orginally derived from the work of
Samuel Hahnemann, who back in the nineteeth century was a doctor in Germany.
Hahenemann discovered the basic principles which led to the inception of
homeopathy as a medicial discipline.
This is a branch of medicine which states
that any substance that can cause a problem, disease or symptom, can also be the
principle cure. Treating "like with like". The remedies are generally sourced
from animal, vegetable or mineral. The uniqueness of homoeopathic is that some
poisonous plants can be used as a remedy. The preparation of the remedies is
fairly complex but in principle it is based on a series of
dilutions and solutions. To help decide which remedy is best for your horse or
dog, treat him or her as a whole not just the symptom. Homoeopathy is not a
quick fix solution, but can have very successful results, often supporting
regular medicine at a fraction of the cost.
